Cup and Flower Foundation is a Public Charity that supports service members and veterans through the operations of charitable programs. Our programs directly ensure units across the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Space Force, National Guard, State Guards, and Veterans’ Groups have a modern, reliable, and enduring mechanism to sustain the long-cherished tradition of the Cup and Flower Fund.
Background: The Cup and Flower Fund has long been a cherished tradition within military units, symbolizing the deep camaraderie and mutual support that service members extend to one another in times of joy, hardship, and loss. Historically, this informal fund has been a pooling of individuals’ cash to provide small, but meaningful gestures; flowers in times of bereavement, support for unit heraldry and functions, and honoring individuals with personalized awards during Hail and Fairwell ceremonies.
