Secretary – Melissa C. Perna

Melissa Perna brings a lifelong passion for service and a multifaceted professional background to her role as Secretary for Cup and Flower Foundation.  With a career rooted in the healthcare insurance field, Melissa has balanced her professional life with a deep and sustained commitment to community service.  She and her husband also own and operate a mobile bicycle repair business, combining entrepreneurial spirit with a love for active, healthy living.

For most of her adult life, Melissa has volunteered with numerous nonprofit organizations, demonstrating a consistent dedication to helping others.  She currently serves as a grant writer for LifelongFriends Pet Adoptions and has proudly been a board member of The Steven Kincaid Memorial Foundation for over seven years.

Her volunteer experience includes impactful roles with Soldiers’ Angels Foundation, Susan G. Komen through the Young Professionals for the Cure, Light the Night Walk, Texas Humane Heroes and the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.  Additionally, Melissa was an active member of the Associates Program for the Leander Fire Department, where she provided rehab services during fire calls, assisted in shelter operations, and supported various emergency response training activities including live fire scenarios, vehicle extrication, and hazardous materials classes.

Melissa has been married to her best friend Joe for 7 years and they have one daughter in elementary school. They currently reside in Lago Vista, Texas.
